Design Playground at Design Week Philippines 2023 in the Philippine Trade Training Center (PTTC) showcased an impressive array of creativity. Fifty tote bags, featuring fifty unique designs from forty-six designers, were carefully selected by Type63 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Design Center of the Philippines. The creative brief was simple yet profound: type, lettering, or calligraphic designs that demonstrate the incredible power of design to heal and innovate.

This exhibit was a collaboration between DTI’s Design Center of the Philippines, the Communication Design Association of the Philippines (CDAP), Type63, and Team Manila Graphic Design Studio. It highlighted the vibrant and transformative nature of design, emphasizing its role in our lives and communities.
